Billy (Jamie's brother also referred to as Bloggs , Bilbo and other endearing cute brother terms even though he is 6 foot 3) sent me this. In true post office advert style, he saw it and thought of me. It amused him and so he snapped the shot. Bill's artistic encouragment and blog information (including over the phone technical help) has very much enabled the pleasure of my text and image to appear on your screen. It's nice when family are friends and fellow artists too. He's also quite good at washing up . I shall be adding his blog and website to my list of sites of succulence when they are ready to be viewed. Hurry up Bill, now there are more of us waiting......
Actually, it took me a few minutes to digest this picture. Due to being an only child for the majority of my childhood, I read backwards as easily as forwards. This can be very confusing when there are written signs on the road and I am driving. Being an English femme en france, I drive on the left or the right side of the road depending on the country I happen to be in. Arrows take me too long to work out, so i stay off the auto route and motorway and listen to (or should that be watch) my instincts. Occasionally chanting mantras when driving such as....
"Drive on the right drive on the right"
or "drive on the left , drive on the left"
It generally works in France , but not always in England.
However don't tell my dad because it's his car I use in old blighty. Bless me old man's nighty.Actually it's his jeep I use in France but apart from one little bump, I'm much safer over here. (It's nothing to do with there being less people, traffic and cars, Thank you very much!)
